As the founder and President of American General Funding, Vincent Colandrea has been a successful entreprenuer for over 40 years. Having started and run several successful businesses in the hospitality industry, Vincent has spent the last 20 years focused on the financial services industry.
With excellent interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills, Vincent consistently meets the expectations of his clients. Vincent has counseled many of his corporate clients and high net-worth individuals with regard to their borrowing requirements resulting in solid decisions regarding their financial capabilities.
Vincent is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science.
As the Chief Financial Officer, Robert Paduano brings to American General Funding over 40 years of experience and an impeccable reputation in the financing industry. Throughout his career, Robert has consistently exceeded the expectations of his clients with his unique combination of industry knowledge and passion for outstanding customer service.
Over the years, Robert has developed relationships with numerous lenders in an effort to provide his clients with the optimal loan solution for their individual needs. Robert has the unique ability to find the best loan solution for each individual client. He has created financing solutions for some of the most complex loan scenarios, often times obtaining funding from organizations that initially turned down the loan application.
Having funded a loan portfolio of over $500 milllion during his 40 year career, Robert has an extensive backgroun in commercial, construction and high-end residential financing. His experience in analyzing and evaluating multi-family, income producing, construction and undeveloped real estate projects provides his clients the option to obtain the maximum amount of funding to complete the project.
As an entreprenuer, Robert's career in financing began with American General Mortgage in Orange County where he initiated and manged the company's first builder's financing program. Over the years, Robert has been a guest speaker in finance at various colleges and universities in the Orange County area.
As Managing Director at American General Funding, Mr. Savin oversees sales and marketing in addition to project analyzing and development. His diverse mortgage background is suited to address today's financing challenges and gives him a distinct advantage in structuring "win-win" deals for American General Funding's clientele. Understanding the challenges in today's secondary market, David brings his strong business contacts and acumen along with a unique understanding of deal structure which allows clients to get projects funded.
Having started his career 25 years ago funding commercial real estate in Los Angeles on a wholesale and retail basis, Mr. Savin has financed hundreds of millions of dollars in commercial and residential projects. Owning one of the largest commercial mortgage banking operations in Los Angeles, Richfield Capital Corporation, David developed numerous relationships and strategic alliances with many national banks and Wall Street firms. David has held management positions with several financial institutions including Amresco Capital Markets, Approved Federal Savings Bank and Wells Fargo.
Antonio Perez joined American General Funding in April 2008. Mr. Perez's responsibilities at American General Funding include originating real estate financing opportunities, advising clients on capital structure and tailoring each transaction to appeal to the current commercial real estate lender/investor market and analyzing and submitting loans for approval.
Prior to joining the AGF team, Mr. Perez was an independent consultant to mortgage bankers. He also worked for Mortgage Tree Lending and Mortgage One where he developed a marketing plan which resulted in the closing of over 500 loans per month. Throughout his career, Mr. Perez worked with All Valley Acceptance assisting them to become a national lender in Manufactured Home financing. As the Vice President of Marketing at Huntington Thrift and Loan, Mr. Perez was responsible for the marketing of Title One Loans. Early in his career, he held positions with Duerr Postal and Associates, Pacific Coast Funding and Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.
Mr. Perez attended the University of Washington in Seattle, was a member of the US Army, carries a DE Underwriter and LUTCF (Insurance) designation and is the President of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals.
